Faith

My faith in God and my love for Jesus carried me through the moments that should have broken me

There were moments in my life where nothing made sense. Moments where the pressure was overwhelming, the pain was heavy, and the road in front of me felt dark. I have lived through hardship, loss, betrayal, grief, fear, uncertainty, and seasons where I truly did not know how I was going to make it through.

And in those moments, when everything around me felt unstable, my faith is what grounded me. My faith in God. My love for Jesus. My belief that even when I could not understand what was happening, I was not abandoned.

A name with meaning

My name is Moses, and I have always felt there was something meaningful in that

I have never taken my name lightly. Moses is a name that carries weight. It carries purpose, leadership, endurance, and responsibility. Over the years I have often felt that in my own way I was called to stand strong, help people, guide where I could, and keep moving forward even when things around me were falling apart.

I do not say that from a place of ego. I say it from a place of reverence. I know I am imperfect. I know I have made mistakes. I know I have had to learn hard lessons. But even through my failures and my pain, I have always felt that there was a deeper hand on my life, something calling me not to quit, not to become bitter, and not to lose the heart God gave me.

The older I get, the more I understand that some things are not accidental. Some things are written deeper into who we are.

Hardship

When the tables were turned and everything felt against me, faith became my anchor

There were seasons in my life where the weight felt unbearable. Pain, loss, pressure, uncertainty, and things I never imagined having to carry. Those are the moments where surface strength is not enough. Those are the moments where a man finds out what is truly holding him together.

For me, it was faith. When I could not see clearly, faith. When I was exhausted, faith. When I did not understand why certain things were happening, faith. God kept me from collapsing under the weight of it all.

Gratitude

I am grateful in ways I cannot fully put into words

My faith is not a small side note in my life. It is one of the deepest parts of my foundation. I love God. I love Jesus. And I say that with humility and gratitude, because I know there were moments where I would not have made it through the same way without them.

The blessings, the strength, the wisdom that came through pain, and even the ability to still have love and empathy in my heart after everything, I give thanks for all of it.

Faith and character

To me, faith is not about pretending to be perfect. It is about staying connected to what is greater than you

I do not believe faith is about perfection. I believe it is about staying grounded. Staying humble. Staying aware that no matter how much you build, how much you achieve, or how much you endure, you are still under God, still dependent on grace, still called to carry yourself with integrity.

Faith shows in how you treat people. It shows in how you respond when you are wounded. It shows in whether hardship makes you harder or deeper. It shows in whether you can still love, still forgive, still help, still care, and still have compassion after life has bruised you.

I have always had a very empathetic heart, and I know that is tied to my faith. I cannot walk through life untouched by other people’s suffering. I feel things deeply. I carry things deeply. And I believe that too is part of what God placed in me.

Quiet strength

Faith helped me survive what people never fully saw

There are things a person carries that never fully show on the outside. There are battles people do not see. There is loss that changes you. There are moments where you smile in public and hurt deeply in private.

My faith gave me strength in those places. Not always loud strength. Sometimes just enough strength to take one more step, one more day, one more breath forward.

Why this page matters

This is the center of my story

My journey, my work ethic, my compassion, my ability to keep going, and even the way I look at people and pain are all connected to this. Faith is not a side page in my life. It is part of the center.

If someone wants to understand me truthfully, they should know this part too.

“God carried me through moments I did not think I would survive, and my love for Jesus gave me strength when I felt like I had none left.”

I will always be grateful for that.
