The Escalade ESV The Tucson Trust Story
Some of the best deals I’ve ever made weren’t just about the vehicle. They were about the people.
One of those deals brought me to Tucson, Arizona.
I flew out there to purchase a Cadillac Escalade ESV limousine. The seller was a gentleman named Roberto, who owned a company called Extreme Limousine. From the moment we met, there was a strong sense of respect and connection.
Roberto and his wife were incredible people. Genuine, kind, and easy to talk to. We built a rapport very quickly, which made the entire experience feel different from a typical transaction.
Some deals are remembered for the vehicle. Others are remembered for the trust.
This was another financing deal, and just like other situations at the time, the money transfer didn’t go through right away.
Despite that, Roberto trusted me enough to let me take the vehicle and drive it home before everything was finalized. That’s something I’ve never forgotten.
That kind of trust is rare. And it says a lot about the type of person he was.
I brought my sister with me on that trip, and the drive back was something special. As we made our way through New Mexico early in the morning, the sun was just coming up over the horizon.
I remember looking over and seeing the Rio Grande. It was one of those quiet moments where everything just felt right. The road, the view, the feeling of progress.
We made the long drive back home to Indiana without any issues, taking in the journey along the way.
Looking back, that experience meant more than just adding another vehicle to the fleet. It reinforced something I had already started to understand. This business, at its core, is about relationships. And sometimes, the people you meet along the way leave just as much of an impact as the journey itself.
Relationships shaped the road
This chapter wasn’t just about acquiring another vehicle. It was about the kind of trust and respect that only real people create.
