Building the Black H2 Hummer
This was no longer about buying vehicles. This was about creating one exactly the way I wanted it.
At this point in the journey, I had been through a lot. I had learned from mistakes, taken risks, and started to understand what worked and what didn’t.
That’s when I made the decision to build something from the ground up.
It wasn’t about owning a vehicle anymore. It was about bringing a vision to life.
I partnered with a builder named Lionel from Nova Coachworks. He was a great guy, and I remember flying out to California with my father to visit the facility.
Seeing how these vehicles were built opened my eyes to a completely different level of the business.
What made it even more special was being able to design it myself. We sat down and selected everything. The layout. The finishes. The details. Every part of the vehicle was intentional.
Every detail mattered. Every decision had purpose.
When the H2 Hummer was completed, it was everything I had hoped for. Strong presence. Unique. Built the right way. It immediately became one of the most important vehicles in the fleet.
Of course, like many builds in this industry, it wasn’t perfect. The electronics needed attention later on. I upgraded the system and refined it over time.
That build marked a major shift. I realized I wasn’t limited to what existed. I could create exactly what I wanted. And that mindset changed everything moving forward.
From operator to builder
This was the moment the business evolved from acquiring vehicles to designing and building them with intention.
